Dr Newey has spent more than three decades working across NHS and independent settings, including clinical leadership roles in CAMHS and specialist youth services, alongside a longstanding private practice established in 2002.

His work spans children, young people, families and adults, with specialist expertise in:

  • Complex developmental trauma
  • Adoption and care-experienced young people
  • Trauma-informed assessment and intervention
